Prepared Piano 101

Join us for a hands on introduction to preparing a grand piano with Harvard Piano Technician Richard Gruenler and our 9ft Steinway grand.

In this workshop, we will cover a dozen of the most common piano preparation methods (screws, blue tak, paper, etc.) as well as various ‘inside the piano’ techniques (e-bow, maqiano, bowls, mallets, etc). Participants are encouraged to come with preparation ideas of their own!
