An Introduction to Audio Production Basics

Pro Tools, Podcasting, and Creating an Audio Feature

Do you have an idea for a podcast that you’ve been kicking around but have no idea where to begin the production process? Making a podcast can be fun but figuring out how to get started can be overwhelming. In this workshop you will be introduced to important terms and techniques in audio production and will get hands-on experience with Pro Tools while working on an in-class project: Making a Narrative Audio Feature. At the end of the workshop students will have a basic understanding of Pro Tools, and will leave with the skills necessary to create their own audio projects.
